TOWNSVILLE's event and hospitality businesses have rallied together to form an independent body that aims to foster the industry's growth.The Townsville Event Network was officially launched at the group's first public event which was held on June 1st at Mercure Townsville . While the network's primary aim is to facilitate relationships and referrals between events-related businesses, it also hopes to showcase the capabilities of a united industry to local, intrastate and interstate clients.The network is the vision of Cassandra Cazzulino, of Townsville's Out of the Blue Events. Mrs Cazzulino said support for the group had been overwhelmingly positive and members were keen to work together.
